The game changing songstress has shattered an iTunes record with her surprise album, which sold a groundbreaking 828,773 copies worldwide in just three days. According to a press release from Apple, her album 'Beyoncé' has become the fastest-selling album ever on the iTunes Store worldwide.
The album also broke the iTunes first-week album sales record in the States with 617,213 sold and hit #1 in 106 countries. It bests the previous one-week iTunes record held by Taylor Swift’s 'Red', which sold 465,000 copies in October 2012. On top of that, she earns the largest sales week of 2013 for a woman. The album will easily debut at #1 on next week’s Billboard 200 when the chart is released on Wednesday. POW!
