One person that never fails to crack me up in her interviews is Mariah Carey. She promoted her new single 'The Art Of Letting Go' while visiting 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' and Angie Martinez on Hot 97. Never failing to drop some funny bombs along the way, yes!
I still consider 'Art' a weak follow-up (don't question my lack of
musical knowledge as I have ALL of her albums and my criticism
was coming from a good place). As for her admissions on Hot 97, she addresses what it was like working alongside the "satanic" Nicki Minaj on American Idol. Jokingly she says: “It was like going to work everyday in hell with Satan”. She was obviously semi-joking. We all know she truly felt some way regardless of what she'd have us believe. No need to play it down. She also confirms her hopes to release her album 'The Art of Letting Go' in February to coincide with Valentine’s Day. So it's a 2014 release now. Really? ANOTHER pushback? Ugh. I fear for this album. I truly do. Without a PROPER hit single, I can see it flopping, but you didn't hear that from me.
