Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige showed up at Boston’s Fenway Park to perform the US National Anthem at Game 1 of ‘World Series.’I would give her a C- for this performance. I mean, she has a good voice (not a great one), but this rendition was too dramatic for my tastes.
We get she wanted to show off what she could do. However, the National Anthem is not about her. Just sing the damn song!
