Early this morning, UK girl group Little Mix woke up bright and early to premiere their new lead single 'Move' on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show. So, does it live up to expectations? Well, this one is a funky bop consisting of flirtatiously fun lyrics and a not so-defined chorus but you can still sing along to it for the most part.The track is very well produced, but the one thing lacking is a killer chorus (forgettable). However, they manage to make up for it with some really nice adlibs, and although it's not instant, the song is way better than most of what's dominating the charts right now. In fact, sonically, it's risky for them and not generic by any means. I'm actually drawn to it simply because the production is very Pharrell-ish. As of now, I don't know who produced it but the gals co-wrote it themselves.
The fun-filled tune is due to be released in the UK on November 3rd and their second album will follow a week later. Give it a listen below.
