The artwork is also a re-creation of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s 1969 'Bed-Ins for Peace' which was to calmly protest the Vietnam War back in the day. Jhene's vocals are really soothing and she actually came through on the song. Most people DO compare her to Cassie because they're both blasian chicks with a similar look and sound but Jhene puts out better music and her voice has more technique to it.
And then there's the fact that she seems a lot more passionate about the music. Bino on the other hand, his verse was pretty underwhelming so I felt Jhene could have carried the song on her own. 'Bed Peace' is lifted off her upcoming EP, 'Sail Out' due to hit stores on October 29th. Take a listen to the track below.
