She answered questions and previewed never before heard music from the ill-fated project. One of those previews was a track called 'Don't Tell Me No', which is more contemporary in sound than the R&B tracks that failed to make an impact on the Billboard Hot 100. As much as Ashanti puts out quality music, the record buying public are just not budging, and her days as R&B's IT girl are well and truly OVER!
The more she pushes back the album, the more it's destined to flop when it DOES finally see a release. I think she should just consider dropping a mixtape, or even an EP just to get some buzz going for her music. Or better yet, just swallow her pride, admit she hasn't got what it takes to manage herself as an Independent artist and get one of those 360 deals she so badly despises. Take a listen to a preview of 'Don't Tell Me No', below!
