As Bruno Mars is my type of performer, I can rejoice at this news! He's expected to perform at Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on February 2nd, 2014. That is, according to the Los Angeles Times but an official announcement could come as early as tomorrow. Past headliners include Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, and Beyoncé, who performed earlier this year. At present, Mars is taking a break from his sold-out 'Moonshine Jungle' world tour after wrapping the States. The European trek kicks off on October 2nd.
After his epic VMAs performance, I would not have minded Justin Timberlake but we can at least be grateful we won't be getting Miley Cyrus and her nasty tongue. Hallelujah!
