It's official! Bruno Mars will perform at halftime during next year's Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show! And he's just posted an official video announcement to his YouTube channel. Bruno will perform at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on February 2nd. I know there is some skepticism as he is still considered a new artist that has not significantly impacted the music industry like past performers (such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna and even Beyoncé). Though he does put out good music and his songs top the charts.
I also enjoy his performances and I think he'd put on a good show. How do you really feel about Bruno being the headline performer now that this news has been made official?
