At 12 noon today, (August 29th) Jay Z exclusively debuted his Justin Timberlake-assisted 'Holy Grail' video to all his Facebook followers.
The glossy visuals, directed by Anthony Mandler, became the first clip by a major music star to premiere on Facebook, and giving it the advantage over YouTube and all other video providers until tomorrow noon (August 30th). With Jay-Z's 17 million plus Facebook fans and JT's 25 million, the combined reach for 'Holy Grail' was pivotal. Set in a warehouse and the streets of NYC, the visuals narrate the dark side of fame. The chopped up version of the song became annoying as hell, but the video was gritty good.
