Jordin Sparks has just premiered her new single, 'Skipping A Beat', and she's gushing about her love for boyfriend Jason Derulo! 'Skipping A Beat' incorporates twinkling beats, and some finger snaps, and entails a melody that is infectiously catchy. The lyrics are playful and not too try hard and I think that adds to the song's commercial appeal! Ariana Grande's 'The Way' was originally intended for Jordin (she co-wrote it), so it seems R&B songs with pop undertones may very well be what she's going for this era. If so, I'm excited! Thoughts?
