It's a shame that someone as talented as Jessie J proceeds to go down this generic pop route. This morning, she premiered her second new single ‘It’s My Party' on British radio station 'Capital FM'. And the song is not very good. Jessie explains that the pop-rock fusion is about “three very different parties” that she brings together. But rather than put me in a party mood, I want to bang my head against a brick wall. In deed, ‘It’s My Party' is a generic piece of poop. The song is uninspired (very Pink-esque) and her voice grates terribly on the chorus. Though, don't take my word for it. Take a listen for yourself, and you decide.
