Jennifer Lopez has premiered her new single 'Live It Up' today. The RedOne-produced cut was co-written by J.Lo and Cory Rooney and serves as the official lead single from her forthcoming tenth studio album, due later this year. While Mariah Carey is reinventing herself and bringing a new sound to radio, J.Lo is releasing another dance song with Pitbull and RedOne. They all collaborated on previous hits 'On The Floor' and 'Dance Again'. And yes, it's another song about partying and getting your life.
No originality whatsoever. Catchy yes, but so repetitive and tired. During an interview with Elvis Duran on New York radio station Z100, J.Lo says she plans to release a few more singles before putting the album out because she wants it to gain some momentum first. The singer's tenth studio album serves as the follow-up to 2011's 'Love?', which reached number five in the US and six in the UK.
