New Music: Beyonce – 'Bow Down/I Been On'...

"Bow down bitches!" Did you hear that Keri Hilson? After much request from fans, Beyonce releases a new buzz cut called 'Bow Down/I Been On', which references her #1 status in the music industry.

Every time Beyonce posted pics on her Instagram, teasing fans with what she ate for breakfast or the kit kat she enjoyed during tour rehearsals, the Beyhive would bombard her with the one and only question, "where the HELL is the new single?" So, to give fans a taster of what to expect from her upcoming new album... she dropped this ratchet meets operatic mixture (two songs in the form of an interlude/prelude). Timbaland, Polow Da Don and Planet VI provided the beat for 'I Been On', while Hit-Boy produced 'Bow Down'. The chopped and screwed style in 'I Been On' is to rep her hometown, and you'd recognise the song from her o2 Priority commercial for the 'Mrs. Carter Show' world tour. The first song is trash and she sounds really pressed when she absolutely has NOTHING to be pressed about. Honestly, it is so beneath her and I expected better. However, I liked what she was trying to do with the other song as I hear something fresh. I absolutely love the operatic notes because they sound pretty amazing. Thankfully, this is just for promo and we'll get the real single when she's good and ready.
Thoughts?
