New Music: Robin Thicke - 'Give It 2 U' feat. Kendrick Lamar...

Following the mega success of lead single 'Blurred Lines', Robin Thicke is striving to keep up the momentum with an even sexier radio banger, 'Give It 2 U', featuring Kendrick Lamar

The Dr Luke-produced cut was also co-written by will.i.am and Thicke. The track actually premiered a month ago on radio and featured vocals from a now absent 2 Chainz. The official version was only released to MySpace and iTunes last night. When discussing the direction of the song, Thicke says: “It’s very exciting". Adding: "It’s very Michael Jackson, Prince but also pretty hip-hop. It’s a big, shiny pop record. It’s fun”.

With its space-age tones, Dr Luke's stamp is not to be denied. However, the futuristic, bass-heavy, club record is also a lot poppier than what we're use to hearing from him. In fact, it might even be one of the worst songs of his career. And that's putting it lightly. The crooner's upcoming sixth studio album 'Blurred Lines' is scheduled for release on July 30th via Star Trak.
